Shihan Norm Rivard is a 5th degree black belt, and has successfully represented Kihon in full-contact, bare-knuckle competitions in North America and Japan. He has a full contact record of 77-6 with notable wins in New York at the North American Karate Championships, Denver at the Sabaki Challenge, and in Chicago t the U.S. Shidokan National Tournament, the largest knockdown competiton in the United States. |

We are very sorry that Mr. Charlebois passed away on Dec. 19, 2000. We have included him here out of respect for his accomplishments. Shihan Dan Charlebois was a 6th degree black belt in Kihon Karate. He also held black belt ranks in Kodokan Judo and Ryu-Kyu Kempo Karate. He was the co-founder of the International Kihon Karate Association. |
